Salon du Livre

The annual book fair in Palexpo is always wonderful! There is a separate programme for children: meetings with authors, workshops, storytimes and more!

This year’s new addition: The fair turns cinematic. Cinema will be celebrated throughout the fair with notably three animations as fun as they are captivating. Both young and old can immortalize themselves in front of backdrops creating original visual effects, discover zoetropes and thaumatropes by participating in workshops (30 to 45 minutes of free access), or even transform the life of the fair into real movie scenes with three (fake) cameras and headphones broadcasting a selection of soundtracks.

It’s a great occasion to discover new books, new projects, and new associations. There is always a big second-hand books stall, and of course, you can find books in English at Salon du Livre.

Entry is free but anyone ages 14 and over needs a ticket (you can get one on line or on site).
